NEW YORK-American design house Kontextür, known for its bath accessories, has introduced its first collection of glassware, designed by New York-based designer Jeff Miller.
The 3.2.1. Collection is made in the Czech Republic and includes handblown and handetched crystal decanters with triangular bases as well as double old-fashioned glasses. The collection will be available in April and is targeted at small luxury boutiques. Retail prices are $400 per decanter or set of four glasses.
“In conceiving of a contemporary collection of crystal I wanted to strip away a lot of the pomp and let the flowing vessels of clarity speak for themselves,” said Miller, who is vice president of design for Poppin.
