DALLAS–The lighting market kicks off the new year with the opening today of the Dallas International Lighting Market.
Many companies are debuting renovated or new showrooms at market, and among the lighting companies unveiling them today include Adesso (TM 4-4906) at 1:45 p.m., Light Source, Inc. (TM 4-4804) at 2:30 p.m. and Artcraft Lighting (TM 3-3501) at 5:15 p.m. Edge Lighting (TM 4-4515), CAL Lighting (TM 4-4323), Hinkley Lighting (TM 3-3210) and ELK Lighting (TM 3-3606) held their ribbon cuttings earlier today.
In addition, ART will be hosting a mini-seminar series throughout market, including “Branding Basics,” which takes place today at 1 p.m., in the Codarus showroom (WTC, Suite 531).
An Irish Coffee bar will be available at the back elevators on the third floor of the Trade Mart at 4 p.m., if one needs a warm spiked beverage to provide a jolt.
Crystorama is hosting a hospitality event tonight from 4-6 p.m. in its showroom, TM 3503. It will also present its Rep of the Year awards during the event, around 5 p.m.
The Gift and Home Trade Association will hold a cocktail reception from 5-7 p.m. in TM 1244.
In addition, Murray Feiss Lighting — now known as Feiss — and Monte Carlo Fan Company will debut as one company at this market in a completely redesigned showroom. Tonight it will have a party to celebrate both the showroom and the new alignment of the two brands, from 5-8 p.m. in the showroom, TM 4010.
