Besides the New York Home Fashions Market, two other rug markets take place this month in New York: Metro Market Week and the New York International Carpet Show.
The New York International Carpet Show will be held September 11-13 at 7 West 34th St. Events during the show include the 7 W Designer Day series panel “Selecting the Right Carpet: From Contemporary to Classic to Custom” on Sept. 12, at 11:30 am on the 11th floor. Moderated by Annie Block of Interior Design magazine, the panel will include interior designer Carl D’Aquino, rug designer Amy Helfand and ASID interior and rug designer Pedro Lima. A complimentary lunch hosted by 7 West 34 will follow.
