WOOLRICH, Penn.–Woolrich executives and home furnishings licensing partners gathered for their eighth annual Brand Partners’ Summit last month to discuss strategic planning and business opportunities for 2011 and beyond.
The meeting, held in the Shadow Mountain showroom during the High Point Market, was attended by executives from Woolrich Home licensees Shadow Mountain, Whitecraft, Picture Source, Mohawk and Rowe Pottery Works. Other participants included licensing executives from Woolrich and The Media Matters.
During the gathering, Woolrich and its home brand partners toured the High Point showrooms of three brand partners and discussed the outlook for business, new approaches to marketing, and emerging style directions. The group also shared ideas for growth and reviewed new products planned for the coming year.
“Our annual home summit provides our brand partners with valuable ideas and tools they can use to successfully develop, promote and sell Woolrich furnishings,” said Nick Brayton, director of domestic licensing. “By sharing our views on the marketplace, we all come away with a better understanding of how to meet emerging consumer needs.”
In his presentation, Brayton updated the group about the company’s global positioning, including new developments on the corporate and apparel side of Woolrich’s business.
During her session, Sharon Kepley, the company’s manager of licensing for home furnishings, outlined Woolrich Home’s product design strategy for 2011 and beyond.
