WOODRIDGE, Ill.–Mary Cushing Merfeld has been named chief financial officer at Wilton Brands, succeeding Thomas Kasvin, who is leaving to pursue other interests, the company said.
Merfeld will continue in her role as president, operations, a position she has held since 2007. Having been at Wilton for 20 years, Merfeld has served in a number of positions, including as chief financial officer from 2002 to 2007.
“I am delighted that Mary is taking on the position of chief financial officer,” said Jerry Levin, chairman and interim chief executive officer. “I have been impressed with Mary’s capabilities and her dedication to Wilton. She has been instrumental in Wilton’s successes over the years and I look forward to working with her in her new role.”
