SADDLE BROOK, N.J.–Nourison has named Stewart Hay as vice president, tufted production and product development. A native of New Zealand, Hay has more than 30 years experience in wool production, and more than 20 in wool carpet manufacturing, particularly in tufting. Until he sold the business last year, he was owner and president of Glen Eden Wool Carpets, which offered specialized wool carpets, woven imports and custom hand-tufted product.

His knowledge of wool and tufted manufacturing, combined with his knowledge of the U.S. luxury market, makes him a unique talent that will help us both here and in China.”
Peykar added that Hay will spend a lot of time at the company’s tufted factory in China.
