NEW YORK–The New York chapter of the International Furnishings and Design Association will host a program describing ways for companies to engage social media sites.
Scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17, the seminar will take place at the offices of Gibbs & Soell Inc. Public Relations at 60 E. 42nd St. here. It will be moderated by Audra Hession, vice president of Gibbs & Soell and group head of the public-relations agency’s consumer lifestyle and building solutions practice. Featured will be Steve Halsey, a Gibbs & Soell vice president and head of its digital media effort; and Susan Serra, principal of Susan Serra Associates, a design firm. Halsey and Serra will discuss strategies for social media and efforts to build an online identity through these sites.
A cocktail hour will follow the program at 5:30.
