NEW YORK–Frigidaire has partnered with actress Jennifer Garner for the debut of a line of appliances and to kick off its Make Time for Change campaign to support Save the Children.
Described in a company statement as “Frigidaire’s largest launch in the brand’s history,” the new line encompasses 250 appliances with time-saving features that are designed to reduce the time and effort of working in the kitchen. Garner, who helped start the program in an appearance with Frigidaire executives here yesterday, will serve as the brand’s ambassador and make other appearances on behalf of the program.
In addition, Frigidaire and Garner are urging consumers to make a pledge to support Save the Children’s CHANGE program, which supports children in poverty by providing nutritious snacks and regular opportunities for these children to be physically active. Frigidaire said it will donate $1 for every individual who goes to frigidaire.com and makes a pledge to make time for a child.
The new line includes freestanding and built-in gas and electric ranges; wall ovens; gas, electric and induction hybrid cooktops; warmer drawers; built-in and over-the-range microwaves; counter-depth and standard-depth refrigerators and freezers; dishwashers; and front-load laundry pairs.
