NEW YORK–Springs Global will move its showroom from its long-time location at 111 W. 40th St. to 110 Fifth Ave. in time for next year’s New York Home Fashions Market in March 2010.
The company is planning a limited showing of product at its current location, on the fifth floor of the building. The presentation will center on its relaunch of the Wamsutta brand, which will include sheets in sophisticated solid colors and bed ensembles that draw upon influences from artists such as Georgia O’Keefe and William Morris, and architectural influences from the Bauhaus. Also to be launched are mix-and-match bath ensembles to coordinate with the bed patterns.
Joe Granger, president of Springs’ branded-business unit, said Springs would announce other moves over the next 30 to 60 days, but did not provide specifics on those events.
