LAKEWOOD, N.J.–Harold Imports has added an exclusive U.S. distribution of a silicone collection to its product line, and named a new product development coordinator. The company has entered into an agreement with Lékué of Spain, a silicone bakeware and tool and gadget company, for exclusive distribution in the U.S. For next year’s International Home & Housewares Show, Harold said it would launch more than 30 newly developed products from this company. In addition, Lékué’s packaging for its tools and gadgets will be updated for a better presentation to the U.S. marketplace, while keeping its European flair, according to Harold Imports.
In addition, Anne Galvanek has joined Harold Imports as product development coordinator, and will work with the company’s existing vendor base to bring new products to the specialty marketplace as well as further develop Harold Import’s own proprietary brands. She previously worked at specialty store chain Le Gourmet Chef and the merchandising department at Macy’s.
In addition, one of Harold’s lines, Dexter, was awarded the Ease-of-Use Commendation by the Arthritis Foundation for its DuoGlide line of cutlery, Harold Imports announced.
