SAN FRANCISCO–Greg Waples has been appointed vice president of retail sales for AbsolutelyNew, a consumer-products company that helps inventors bring their product developments, including home furnishings, to market.
Waples is in charge of the company’s day-to-day retail sales operations in this newly created position. He reports to Bill Feroe, the company’s executive vice president, who had been handling these responsibilities prior to Waples’ appointment.
Before joining AbsolutelyNew, Waples was senior vice president of global sales for the leisure and entertainment division of Jarden. He also held sales, marketing and strategic-planning positions for Procter & Gamble, Mead Corp., Polaroid, Day Runner, Creative Seasonal Solutions and Novelty Inc.
