ROSEMONT, Ill.–Registration for the International Home & Housewares Show by U.S. and Canadian retail buyers, to date, has risen significantly, according to the International Housewares Association, the sponsor of the show.
Registration by U.S. attendees is up 10 percent, and registration by Canadian buyers has increased 8 percent, according to an IHA statement. Buyer hotel reservations have also risen, in line with the increases in registrations. The show is scheduled to take place from March 22 to 24 at McCormick Place in Chicago.
In the statement, Phil Brandl, president of IHA, said, “Our North American buyers are telling us that March will be critical to them as they look to emerge from a difficult year. In our recent meetings and conversations with buyers, it is clear that they will be aggressively scouring the show for new products and innovative, sales-driving programs that will ignite their business.”
