CALHOUN, Ga.–Rizzy Rugs has expanded its sales management team with two new regional managers, the company has announced.
Rizzy’s parent corportation, Sheikh Bhullan Carpets, meanwhile, has been awarded ISO 9001: 2000 certification for meeting all requirements associated with dyeing, manufacturing, and exporting handmade carpets and rugs.
Mark Ferullo, Rizzy vice president of sales, said the certification “establishes Rizzy Rugs and its other home furnishing products are manufactured under the strictest guidelines with regard to product quality, treatment of the environment and treatment of the company’s workers.”
Ferullo also said the company has expanded the role of Roger Stringer, appointing him Western regional sales manager, handling rugs and Rizzy’s home brands. He has been with the company for a year.
The company has also hired Sheila Altenstadter as an Eastern regional sales manager and key accounts executive. For the past 10 years, she was sales manager for national accounts at Fibreworks. She is based in Louisville, Ky.
