NEW YORK–E.J. Victor has signed on as the licensee for Ralph Lauren Home furniture, effective Jan. 1.
The license had previously been held by Henredon, an arrangement that ended earlier this year.
E.J. Victor will produce both case goods and upholstery under the Ralph Lauren Home name. The Lauren brand, which had also been done by Henredon, is not included in this license. Currently, there is no furniture licensee for that brand, which is more moderately priced than Ralph Lauren.
“It is exciting to partner with a company that has a passion for furniture and a clear understanding of our brand,” said Frank Guzzetta, president of Ralph Lauren Home. Added John Jokinen, E.J. Victor’s CEO and co-founder: “The opportunity to work side by side with Ralph Lauren’s world-class design team on new products is both challenging and exciting to us.”
Ralph Lauren is marking its 25th anniversary in the home business this year and earlier this fall announced that Fitz & Floyd was its new licensee in tabletop and gift products.
