MIRAMAR, Fla.–Applica has introduced two additions to its high-profile George Foreman lineup: the George Foreman Lean Mean Fryer and the George Foreman 360 Grill.
The Lean Mean Fryer is the brand’s first deep fryer and offers a patented Smart Spin feature that removes up to 55 percent of the fat absorbed during frying, according to Applica. This technology creates a “spin cycle” in the cooking basket that kicks in after the conventional deep-frying process.
The 360 Grill, the first circular grill under the George Foreman name, provides what Applica said is “the largest grilling space to date.” It includes five removable plates—including two for grilling, two for quesadillas and other snacks, and one deep-baking/griddle pan for pizza and other items. The grill also seals in juices, enhancing flavor and retaining nutrients while providing speedier cooking time, according to Applica.
Both products are available now at U.S. and Canadian mass merchants, specialty stores and online retailers, and both come at a suggested retail price of $149.99.
