NEW YORK–London Luxury has reached a licensing agreement with Outlast Technologies, creator of temperature-regulating technology for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, on a line of bed and bath products that will feature Outlast’s gold-level temperature-regulation technology.
The collection includes bathrobes and slippers, mattress pads, comforters, pillows, toppers and woven blankets. Outlast’s technology absorbs excess heat when it becomes too warm, and releases it back when it cools down. The products couple this technology with London Luxury’s anti-microbial stain-release functionality.
In a company statement, London Luxury said it would market this line to baby boomers, especially those experiencing symptoms associated with menopause. These include erratic and uncomfortable fluctuations in body temperature, which might interrupt sleep.
