NEW YORK–WestPoint Home has appointed Paul Mischinski to the newly created position of executive vice president of merchandising and marketing.
Mischinski has assumed responsibility for all of the textiles manufacturer’s merchandising and marketing functions, and reports directly to the company’s president and chief executive officer, John Piazza. Reporting to Mischinski are Joan Scotto, senior vice president of bed merchandising; Linda DelPozo, senior vice president of bath merchandising; Tom Burke, vice president of merchandising for basic bedding; and Nancy Golden, vice president of marketing and sales management.
Mischinski is a veteran of nearly 30 years in multichannel apparel, marketing and packaged-goods companies. Most recently, he was founder and principal of Peak Direct marketing, a direct-to-consumer catalog and online vendor of women’s apparel and lower-body health-care products.
