ALEXANDRIA, Va.–Chris Hudgins has been appointed vice president of government relations for the International Sleep Products Association.
Hudgins is responsible for providing staff support to the ISPA Government Relations Committee and the Sleep Products Safety Council. He reports to Ryan Trainer, the association’s executive vice president and general counsel. He has succeeded Bill Garber, who left ISPA to become director of government and external relations for the Appraisal Institute.
Before joining ISPA, Hudgins served in government relations positions with the National Prostate Cancer Coalition and the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers. He also served on the staff of former Rep. Tom Bliley, R-Va., who was chairman of the House Commerce Committee.
