NEW YORK–Four of the industry’s leaders, representing several generations and many aspects of the home business, were honored here earlier this month at the annual Scholarship Breakfast for the Home Products department of the Fashion Institute of Technology.
This year, for the first time, the event was co-hosted by the Home Fashion Products Association as more than 300 people turned up at Cipriani in Midtown.
Honored were Fred and Jim Richman of Richloom, Neal Cole of Iconix and Arthur Tauber of Avanti Linens.
The event also served as a showcase for this year’s senior class at FIT.
Warren Shoulberg, editor of HFN, was the master of ceremonies.
