ROSEMONT, Ill.–The Housewares Charity Foundation has added two honorees for its 11th annual gala: Renee Behnke, president emeritus, Sur La Table, will be honored as Humanitarian of the Year, and Burton Tansky, chairman and chief executive officer of The Neiman Marcus Group, will receive the inaugural Design and Fashion Leadership Award.
The foundation previously announced that Thierry de LaTour d’Artaise, chairman and CEO of Groupe SEB, will receive the Lifetime Humanitarian Award during the event.
To be held March 17, the gala will benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, the HCF’s legacy charity, and America’s Second Harvest. It will be held at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers.
