FRIANT, Calif.–The Specialty Sleep Association has elected Dale Read, editor in chief and publisher of Bedroom magazine, as president and treasurer.
In addition, Michael Nermon, founder and president of retailer Ergo Customized Comfort, was elected vice president. Mark Miller, president of InnoMax, and Dennis Boyd, president of Boyd Specialty Sleep and immediate past president of the association, were elected to the association’s board of directors.
Along with announcing Read’s election, a Specialty Sleep Association statement said the group will launch a marketing and public-awareness program that will begin in the first quarter of this year. The trade group is also actively recruiting manufacturer and retailer participation in its activities.
