LAS VEGAS–Boyd Specialty Sleep will introduce a marketing campaign for its new Night Air six-chamber air bed that will include television advertisements.
According to the company’s president, Dennis Boyd, the ad will appear on TV stations in the St. Louis market and on a Website created for the program, 6chamberairbed.com. Boyd Specialty Sleep will also find retailer partners in the area that can be linked to the site, and will use the site to sell directly to consumers.
“We’re looking to get the ad on the nation’s top 40 TV markets, but we want to see how the St. Louis test works first,” Boyd said. “For retailers, we’re looking for those that regularly advertise on TV. We will bear all the expenses of the TV ads ourselves.”
The initial test will run about three months, Boyd said. If the program works well enough, it could be extended to Boyd Specialty Sleep’s entire product line.
