HOUSTON–Mattress Firm has named Kim Roberts director of brand development.
In this position, Roberts is in charge of executing the mattress retailer’s brand architecture and managing the alignment of its branding initiatives with consumers and its customers. She reports to Bill Dandy, executive vice president of branding, and succeeds Diane Peterman, who left Mattress Firm last year.

A Mattress Firm statement focused on her work at Home Depot, where she developed new store concepts and communication strategies; served as a liaison between the merchandising functions, the stores and the marketing department; and developed and implemented a multichannel marketing plan to drive sales.
