NEW YORK- Merrimac Textiles and Wearbest Sil-Tex Mills are set to unveil new products at the Showtime fabric fair in High Point, N.C.
Merrimac, the piece goods division of Barrow Industries, has introduced the Premier Collection by Merrimac, a line of high-end jacquards, including chenilles and damasks.
"This new collection of higher-end product is meant to complement and round out our current product offering," said Jeffrey Barrow, company president.
Wearbest Sil-Tex Mills has also launched new fabrics, a line of viscose velvets in memory of the company's founder, Meyer Gasner.
"Our design team began working on this project over one year ago to complement our ever-growing silk collection," said Irwin Gasner, Meyer Gasner's son and the president and chief executive officer of Wearbest.
Portions of the new collection are being previewed at the company's New York showroom, and the entire line will debut at Showtime, Dec. 2 to 5.
