TRINITY, N.C.–Mike Murray has been promoted to senior vice president, general counsel and secretary for Sealy.
Murray assumes responsibility for the mattress manufacturer’s legal affairs, and reports directly to Larry Rogers, president and chief executive officer. He succeeds Kenneth Walker, who is remaining with Sealy in an as-yet unspecified position.
Murray joined Sealy in 1999 and was most recently vice president and associate general counsel. A company statement said he has played a leadership role within the mattress industry regarding flammability regulations and other issues.
