Sabin, Formerly of Salton, Joins Kid Brands Subsidiary

WAYNE, N.J.–Kid Brands announced that David Sabin will join the company as the president of its subsidiary Kids Line, LLC, effective Jan. 1, 2010.
Sabin was a founder and chairman of Salton, the housewares company best known for its George Foreman grills. Most recently, Sabin was president of Greystone Brands, a company started by former Salton head Leon Dreimann. Sabin will be based out of Kids Line’s headquarters in the Los Angeles area.
Michael Levin, who has served as president of Kids Line since 2001, is stepping down from his current position, but will remain as a consultant to the company to support special projects and ensure a smooth transition.
Kid Brands, Inc., formerly known as Russ Berrie and Company, Inc., and its subsidiaries design, develop and distribute infant and juvenile products.
