LOS ANGELES--Ortho Mattress Inc. said it has acquired the assets of Gallery Corp., operator of Mattress Gallery stores in Southern California, bringing its total store count to more than 90 in the region and in the Midwest.
The acquisition follows on the heels of last month's announcement that High Street Holdings, which holds 100 percent of Ortho's equity interest, had acquired more than 3 percent of the shares of Airsprung Furniture Group Plc., a furniture and mattress manufacturer headquartered in Wiltshire, England.
