WILLOWBROOK, Ill.–Ross Olinski has been appointed vice president of operations at Comfort Solutions.
In this newly created position, Olinski is responsible for all product development within the mattress manufacturer. Among his duties will be to oversee compliance with the fire-retardency regulations that went into effect on July 1 of last year, national purchasing and the management of the company’s Tech Center at its headquarters here. He reports to Mike Rakauskas, the company’s chief financial officer.
Olinski joined Comfort Solutions as general manager of manufacturing services in May 2006. A company spokeswoman said he would not be succeeded in this position. Prior to Comfort Solutions, he was an industrial engineer at Spring Air.
