CARTHAGE, Mo.—Following up on the realignment of its direct-to-retail sleep-accessory brands under its Consumer Products Group, Leggett & Platt has repositioned several executives in the group.
Randy Long, formerly vice president of sales for the group’s northeast region, has been promoted to director of sales for the group, a new position, in which he will oversee domestic and international sales of the group’s portfolio of sleep-related products and services. Della Emory, previously sales director of marketing and alternative channels for Leggett & Platt’s adjustable-bed division, has been named to the newly created position of vice president of sales, Leggett & Platt Retail Solution and adjustable-bed marketing, in charge of rolling out the trademarked Retail Solution service nationwide. Both Long and Emory report to Rob Woods, president of the Consumer Products Group.
Also, Zach Woods has been promoted from sales representative to vice president of sales for the western region—a position that has been vacant for some time, according to a company spokeswoman—and is responsible for sales to 11 western states. Brian Croft, formerly director of U.S. retail sales for the adjustable-bed division, has been named to the newly created position of director of retail sales training for the group, and will lead 10 retail-sales coaches for all of the group’s product categories. Both Woods and Croft report to Long.
