Nation Named President of Five Star Mattress

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill.–Jim Nation has been appointed president of Five Star Mattress, the promotional and mid-priced mattress company whose collection is produced by Serta.

Nation succeeds Donna Zett, who has returned to her continuing role as Serta’s chief innovation officer. Nation, former president of Spring Air, joined Serta in September 2008 as president of sales development.

Nation’s career also includes executive positions at Sealy and Bassett Bedding. He is also a former chairman of the International Sleep Products Association.
