FORT ATKINSON, Wis.–Jennifer Welsh has been appointed retail environment and merchandising manager for Verlo Mattress Factory Stores.
In this newly created position, Welsh is responsible for executing in-store experiences and activities, researching and reporting local market conditions to determine consumer experiences and expectations, and implementing any necessary corrective programs. She reports to Keith Mackey, vice president of the Midwestern mattress retailer.
Prior to joining Verlo, Welsh was marketing and advertising coordinator for Kapalua Resort in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, in which she planned and executed national and local advertisement placement for print, online and broadcast media.
