HOUSTON–Mattress Firm has reached an agreement with a new franchisee, Peak Management, to open a Mattress Firm location in Chattanooga, Tenn.
The store will open in July, and Peak Management has “aggressive plans” to open three other locations in the Chattanooga area in the coming months, according to a statement from Mattress Firm. The new store will include all of the features found in Mattress Firm locations elsewhere in the country, including a Value Center offering value-priced mattresses, and an expanded area featuring pressure-relieving sleep technology. The store’s design will incorporate the standard Mattress Firm layout—including a combination of wood flooring, ceramic tile and carpet; artwork and natural wood fixtures; and a racetrack floor plan.
Currently, Mattress Firm operates 480 stores across North America. The new store extends the retailer to 38 markets in 21 states. Ryan Vinson, president of Peak Management, once served as district manager for Mattress Firm in the company’s Dallas market.
