STERLING, Va.–Fortessa Inc. has been named to the “Fantastic 50” honor roll of Virginia’s fastest-growing companies for the second consecutive year.
The business award recognized the tableware company for its “diversity and vibrancy,” as representative of the “entrepreneurial spirit that fuels the [state’s] economic engine.”
Fortessa took honors for achievement in the retail/wholesale field. The company’s growth has moved throughout the Americas and into international markets. Fortessa recently established an Asian branch in China. At home, the company operates the only Foreign Trade Zone in the northern Virginia region.
“We are grateful to our customers and associates whose strong support has made the company’s growth possible,” said Eric Hamberger and Scott Hamberger, Fortessa’s co-presidents. “We reaffirm our commitment to offer the best mix of quality, value and service in the market.”
The Fantastic 50 awards program, sponsored and administered by the Virginia Chamber of Commerce, is the only statewide program recognizing companies in all types of industries. To be nominated, a company must be privately held, with headquarters in Virginia.
