CANON FALLS, Minn.–The National Candle Association has named Frederick Contino, president of Midwest, to its board of directors. Contino joins the 16-person NCA board as the membership chair.
“Rick brings a fresh dimension to the NCA board, lending his leadership, expertise and vision for the future,” said Valerie Cooper, NCA executive vice president, in a statement. “The NCA, industry and retailers stand to benefit from his strategic perspective and commitment to innovation.”
The NCA is the major trade association of U.S. candle manufacturers and their suppliers. Midwest manufactures the Colonial Candle brand of home fragrances.
