NEW YORK–Joanna Kartalis has been appointed director of the registry at Bloomingdale’s. She reports to Stephen Berman, vice president of shopping services. Kartalis succeeds Wendy Hare, who left Bloomingdale’s to take the position of vice president of sales at Wedgwood.
Hare, who was buyer of china and gifts at Bloomingdale’s prior to holding the bridal position, succeeds Julie Rude at Wedgwood and reports to Lou Scala, president.
