Schoppert Upped to Select Comfort CFO

       

       

MINNEAPOLIS–Select Comfort has promoted Wendy Schoppert to chief financial officer, effective June 6.

Schoppert will succeed Jim Raabe, who has left to become chief financial officer of Lindsey Corp., a provider of irrigation systems and infrastructure products. Schoppert, who joined Select Comfort in 2005, had been senior vice president and chief information officer. In her new role, she will continue to report to Bill McLaughlin, president and CEO.

Prior to becoming chief information officer, Schoppert had served as Select Comfort’s senior vice president in charge of its international business, and as senior vice president and general manager of new channel development and strategy. Before joining the company, she had held financial and general-management posts in the U.S. Bancorp Asset Management and in the airline industry.
