Leggett & Platt Debuts Virgin Mattress Contest and Social-Media Campaign

       

       

CARTHAGE, Mo.–Leggett & Platt has launched The Virgin Mattress Contest and a social-media campaign revolving around the introduction of its VertiCoil Edge innerspring.

Through Oct. 11, visitors to the company’s The Virgin Mattress YouTube channel can compete to win a new mattress made with VertiCoil Edge innersprings. The contest is part of a social-media Webisode campaign that Leggett & Platt created to engage and connect with consumers, according to a company statement.

These videos will go live on Oct. 13, the day the The Virgin Mattress Contest winner is announced. Leggett & Platt said entries will be judged on creativity and the contestants’ legitimate need for a new mattress. In addition, the company will support and promote the contest and Webisodes through YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.
