WASHINGTON–Serta has formed a partnership with the National Sleep Foundation to promote education on better sleep for consumers.

As part of this alliance, Serta will redesign its patented Perfect Sleeper line with input from NSF, which will designate it the “Official Mattress of the National Sleep Foundation.”

Also, each new Perfect Sleeper mattress will come with “Guide to Sleeping Well,” an NSF booklet designed to improve consumers’ sleep. In addition, Serta will distribute an estimated 750,000 educational materials each year to help consumers improve their sleep.

The new Perfect Sleeper mattresses carrying the “Official Mattress of the National Sleep Foundation” designation will begin rolling out this year, and will be available at all Serta retailers by 2011.
