OLIVE BRANCH, Miss.--Englander has appointed John Hagglund as its chairman, effective June 1.

Hagglund, president of Englander Northwest/Tualatin Sleep Products, will succeed Chuck Warshaver, president of Englander Northeast/World Sleep Products, who has served as chairman since 2007 and who will continue to run the Englander Northeast operation. Kevin Toman, Englander’s president, will now report to Hagglund.

The company’s seven licensees purchased the Englander name from La-Z-Boy in 2005, and established a managing committee with a rotating chairmanship. The first chairman after this structure was put in place was Terry Spears, president of Englander Southeast/Spears Mattress.
