LENZING, Austria–Lenzing will present its first bed made of Tencel, its natural botanic fiber, at the International Sleep Products Association Expo in March.
Made from wood, Tencel is a patented fiber with a wide variety of applications—including mattresses, basic-bedding products, linens and sleep apparel. The mattress core contains Tencel powder, and the topper and bed covers contain Tencel filling fibers, while the bed linens are made with MicroTencel. Lenzing said Tencel naturally absorbs moisture and quickly releases it again, guaranteeing a dry sleeping climate.
The ISPA Expo is scheduled for March 3-6 in Charlotte, N.C.
