HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.–Bosch has joined forces with the 2008 National Clean Air Green Tour for its second annual coast-to-coast campaign.
The tour will cover 120 cities in 47 states, and will feature a 40-foot biodiesel motorcoach equipped with solar-power charging. Visitors will be able to step inside the trailer, which will be equipped as a model “green” kitchen featuring Energy Star-qualified Bosch appliances, including the Evolution dishwasher and refrigerator and a Nexxt clothes washer.
A statement from Bosch said the manufacturer has Energy Star qualification on all of its clothes washers, refrigerators and dishwashers. It also uses low-impact manufacturing methods and a number of initiatives involving green-building and sustainable home development.
