ROCKY MOUNT, Va.–Uttermost has set up an Indonesian office and staff to expand its offerings in lighting, decorative accessories, wall decor and other product categories.
Mac Cooper, president of Uttermost, said, “The resources available [in Indonesia] are incredible—reclaimed teak, aged terra cotta, cast aluminum, carved wood, cracked coconut shell, penshell and much more.”
Uttermost’s Indonesia office staff includes a quality-control team, sourcing and logistic personnel, a warehouse and consolidation center, wood kilns and a showroom. The office operates under the leadership of Tan Yen Bauer, and Matthew Williams handles product design and development.
Uttermost’s first major Indonesian product introduction will be made at the High Point Market in April.
