BRONX, N.Y.–Murray Feiss Lighting and Monte Carlo Fan Company will debut as one company at this month’s Dallas International Lighting Market in a completely redesigned showroom. In addition, the companies have unveiled new visual identities for each brand, including new logos and color schemes. The Murray Feiss brand name will also be shortened to Feiss.
Parent company Generation Brands announced this past summer that its Monte Carlo Fans brand will be managed and available through its Murray Feiss company as of January.
“We’re thrilled to bring the Monte Carlo brand into the Feiss family as its products are a wonderful extension to the Feiss product line,” said Maria Scutaro, incoming president of Feiss Lighting. “Because this integration generates opportunity for the two well-respected brands to continue to grow separately while offering new, joint operational efficiencies, we’ll offer even more value and convenience to our customers.”
Scott Forst, incoming vice president of sales, Feiss/Monte Carlo, added, “The Monte Carlo team is equally excited about these changes and to build our presence among lighting showrooms by delivering innovative new solutions for high style and high quality ceiling fans. We’re also very enthused about the incorporated approach we’ll offer showrooms to support their sales efforts of both the Feiss and Monte Carlo brands.”
The Feiss and Monte Carlo integration will bring benefits such as one simple invoice, order and shipment process; united customer service practices; combined freight efficiencies; and new joint sales programs and promotions. In addition, a new Feiss/Monte Carlo iPad sales tool will be used to help simplify and improve the sales process of both brands and assist sales representatives.
In addition, both brands will debut their new logos this month, along with their complementary 2012 catalogs. The Feiss logo reflects the name change and its 1955 founding date, featuring a classic bold font to resonate with consumers. The Monte Carlo logo has been refreshed and complements the Feiss logo to communicate the alignment between the two brands.
The newly renovated Dallas showroom, in the Dallas Market Center’s Trade Mart, #4010, will showcase the two brands together in 25,000 square feet of space. The company is having a party on Thursday, Jan. 19, to celebrate the two brands and their changes.
