LAS VEGAS–Kalco Lighting has named Carlo Armenise as president, a post that’s been vacant more than a year.
Armenise most recently served as vice president and general manager of retail for Mikasa, a chain of 150 retail outlets selling upscale dinnerware and crystal. Previously, he held positions as executive vice president of retail and consumer direct for The Sak, a handbag and accessories manufacturer; senior vice president of sales and operations for Ultra Salons and Cosmetics; and vice president and chief operating officer of The North Face, a chain of specialty outdoor clothing and equipment stores.
Kalco, a wholly owned subsidiary of Simkar Corp., manufactures upscale decorative lighting, primarily hand-forged wrought-iron. Armenise reports to the board of directors.
