UPPER SADDLE RIVER, N.J.–Hunter Douglas has launched Hunter Green, a new program designed to highlight the energy-saving benefits of its products and the company’s other efforts to help conserve energy.
Hunter Green includes the Stop The Great Energy Giveaway campaign, which offers consumers rebates and strives to educate consumers about energy loss through their windows. Part of this promotion is the “We Make Green Beautiful” brochure, which communicates the green benefits of various Hunter Douglas products.
In addition, Hunter Douglas has commissioned the Greenguard Environmental Institute to verify that its products meet the institute’s indoor air-quality guidelines. Greenguard is an independent, non-profit organization that has established air standards for indoor products, environments and buildings. Virtually all of Hunter Douglas’ products are now Greenguard indoor-air certified, according to a company statement.
