Dallas Lighting Market Opens Today

DALLAS–While the temperatures in Dallas will be hot, so will the introductions at the Dallas Market Center’s Dallas International Lighting Market, which starts today. The show is part of the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, which opened yesterday.

Ribbon-cutting ceremonies today include the two new showrooms of Waterford Wedgwood Royal Doulton at 3 p.m. Located in Trade Mart 2-2810 and 2-2824, the showrooms encompass more than 1,800 square feet and will showcase the Waterford Interiors collection of lighting and furniture, and the Royal Albert Home Collection, including the 50th anniversary of the Old Country Roses tabletop line. A cocktail reception will follow.

Other ribbon-cutting ceremonies include Illuminati Lighting at 3:15 p.m. (TM 3-3019) and Demdaco at 3:45 p.m. (TM 1-1418).

From 4-6 p.m. today, Crystorama will have a cocktail reception in its showroom TM 3-3503. The company will also present its Retailer of the Year Award at 5 p.m.

Also beginning at 4 p.m., Littman Lighting and Veranda magazine will host a cocktail party in Littman’s showroom, TM 3-3902.

The Gift and Home Trade Association will also hold its networking reception tonight, from 5-7 p.m. in showroom TM 2-2454.
