Crystorama to Host Sales Rep Award Event; Launch Video Collection
WESTBURY, N.Y.-Lighting company Crystorama will host its Rep of the Year Award reception this Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, the opening day of the Dallas International Lighting Market. At its Trade Mart showroom at Dallas Market Center, #3503, Crystorama will have a cocktail reception from 4-6 p.m., with the awards being presented at 5 p.m.
In addition, the company will premiere a series of videos that highlight the company's heritage and illustrate its brand's design and which are geared to helping enhance retailers' sales and marketing.
"Video is the perfect medium for the Crystorama story," said Brad Kleinberg, president of Crystorama Lighting, a family-owned lighting design house. "From elegant crystals to modern design details, the images in these videos provide insights into how we are bringing innovation, quality and craftsmanship to the lighting marketplace."
One element, "The Crystorama Story," highlights the heritage of the business founded by Abraham Kleinberg in 1958 and traces the company's evolution from crystal chandeliers to lighting fixtures that draw inspirations from art, jewelry, fashion and architecture. The series also focuses on five lighting collections--Palla, Harper, Solaris, Cast Brass and Maria Theresa--capturing the collection's personality and highlighting their design details and quality craftsmanship. Available for DVD and FTP download for sales representatives and customers, the videos are designed for use online and in retail stores and lighting showrooms.
"It was important for us to share the family story of Crystorama while also sharing our vision for the future," Kleinberg said. "Our customers can merchandise the Crystorama brand and our lighting collections videos by using these videos as high-impact sales and marketing tools," Kleinberg said. "The videos represent a major expansion of our support for the Crystorama brand, which also includes our ongoing investments in catalogs, sales literature, website and email communications."
