Bulbrite Celebrates 40th Anniversary at Dallas Market; Presents Annual Awards

       

       

DALLAS–Bulbrite celebrated 40 years in business at last month’s Dallas International Lighting Market with a showroom party filled with customers, reps and employees. The company also gave out its annual awards to its top sales representatives during the party.

“Our father Andrew started this business 40 years ago, selling bulbs in the lighting district of Manhattan,” said Cathy Choi, president. “I was the very first light bulb delivery man,” joked her father, Andrew Choi, founder. “And throughout the years, a lot of things have changed, but the one constant is the amazing people that make up the lighting industry. We would like to especially thank our customers, reps, employees and colleagues for contributing to our success and we look forward to providing beautiful light for many years to come.”

The company bestowed its Rep of the Year Award on Dale Brown and Stan Framburg of the Framburg Brown Lighting Group, which covers Illinois and Eastern Wisconsin. The Best New Agency Award was presented to Ken and Kenny Dretzka of Dretzka and Associates, which represents Bulbrite in Northern California. The Territory Penetration Award was received by Richard Alan, Stan Simmons and Graylin Schultheis of Richard Alan and Associates, for growing their markets in Mississippi, Louisiana and Houston. The Most Improved Agency Award was won by Todd Bierowski of Décor Lighting, which promotes Bulbrite throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa.
