Atlanta Gift, Textiles Markets to Unite in March

ATLANTA–The Atlanta Spring Gift, Home Furnishings & Holiday Market will take place together with The Atlanta International Fine Linen & Home Textiles Market next month.

Both trade shows are scheduled for March 14 to March 16 at AmericasMart Atlanta here. Collections can be viewed at 3,000 showrooms in the Home Accents and Fine Linens Center, Building 1, floors nine to 13; and in the Home, Holiday and Floral Center, Building 1, floors 16 to 20.

In addition, the two markets will present events and seminars during the two shows. Among them are Bedded Bliss, scheduled for March 14 at 11 a.m. in Building 1, floor 1, room 101A, in which designers Suzanne Kasler, Marcia Sherrill and Suze Surdyk Jones will host an open forum on specialty linens, bedroom accessories and creating beautiful spaces with various price ranges. At 2 p.m. on March 14, Holiday Transitions-Keep Them Coming Back will take place in Building 1, floor 19, room 19-A-23, featuring Rebecca Bull Reed, associate garden editor for Southern Living Magazine, and highlighting products that retailers should offer year round.

In addition, AmericasMart will host a Beautiful Bedding vignette throughout the two shows, featuring luxury linens and trends that will be offered in 2009.
