HAWTHORNE, N.Y.-Zwilling J.A. Henckels is expanding its Bob Kramer by Zwilling line to include a stainless steel Damascus style, and its Japanese knife line Miyabi is introducing Miyabi Artisan SG2.
The new Bob Kramer knife is made with 100 layers of deep-etched steel wrapped around a core of SG2 super-steel to create a 101 layer chevron Damascus patterned blade. It has an ergonomic, contoured
linen micarta handle designed by Kramer with curves that maintain balance and utility. The collection includes several sizes and ranges in retail price between $199.99 and $449.99.
The Miyabi Artisan SG2, made in Seki, Japan, features a mirror polished, hand-honed blade finished with a katana edge and a crafted handle that is more ergonomic than traditional D-shaped handles.
The collection also includes several sizes. Prices range from $129.99 to $229.99 for individual knives, $499.99-$699.99 for sets.
Both knives are exclusive to Sur La Table.
